Why do we collect and process your personal data?
Various personal data are collected. Your personal data are necessary for the correct processing of an order of products via our webshop. Your order history is linked to your name and e-mail address. We then have insight into when you have visited us and can serve you better.
1. Personal data
When placing an order, a number of details are mandatory so that we can identify you as the rightful owner of the order. First and last name, e-mail address, address and phone number are mandatory. Order notes and/or company name are optional. These personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- Be able to issue and send purchased products.
- To inform about the order and products purchased online.
- To send you personalised messages.
- Data such as place of residence are also processed anonymously for statistical, marketing and/or strategic purposes.
2. Order details
In your order history, we also collect and process transaction data. This is necessary to execute the purchase agreement and ship your order. This may include: date and time of order placement, address, price type, your acceptance of the general terms and conditions and registration of other options which may or may not be temporarily offered in the ordering process. This data is also used anonymously for statistical, marketing and/or strategic purposes.
We would like to get and stay in touch with you. We do this in different ways, but mainly with mail. We have different types of e-mails you can receive. We confirm your purchase via e-mail and inform you when your order is on its way. These are automatically generated messages and are unavoidable. But we also want to stay in touch with you after your order. We are curious about your experience and will ask you for this. You can unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of the e-mail.
4. Correspondence details
Messages sent to us via email or social media are recorded and stored. We keep this data for reference only.
6. Visual and/or sound recordings
While visiting hej hej's promotional events, among others, image and/or sound recordings may be made. If we are going to use these recordings for marketing purposes (such as sharing videos or photos via social media or through other media such as newspapers or TV), we will make this known in advance.
Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will not be resold to third parties.
Hej hej makes every effort to provide an adequate and appropriate level of personal data security by taking appropriate organisational and technical measures against unlawful processing and/or loss. We enter into agreements with parties where your data is kept that ensure this. In the event of any data breach, hej hej will notify you of this as soon as possible in a way that is most effective at the time. A data breach will also be reported immediately to the Personal Data Authority and we will carefully follow the instructions they draw up, within our power.
Data retention period
If it is no longer necessary to retain personal data or in any case after five years from the last visit to the website, we will anonymise your personal data. This means that the data can no longer be traced back to you. Once your data has been anonymised, this cannot be reversed.
Access, correction and deletion of data
